Hang (also, Taipei Hong)

You know what mala tang is already. Johnny of Hang (Taipei Hong) shows Flushing Food how Taipei makes this crowd favorite:

As far as ambience and service go, just look up the latest Yelp reviews of New York Food Court. Here's the stall to look for towards the very back:

Expect Johnny and his crew to be friendly and accommodating, even during peak lunch or dinner hours.

And ingredients? The lean beef was fresh. Even fresher-looking was the array of seafood and vegetables:

And most notably? If your crew is looking for pre-made slop, look elsewhere. Hang's crew most prides itself on making fresh batches of stock each and every day.

May Flushing Food suggest: asking Hang to add more numbing flavor. Eight out of ten regulars (more than half hailing from Taipei, Taiwan) prefer to skimp on the numbing spices. If you're not a "regular", let 'em know.
